Puppy Dog Valentines Lunch

Sanck today was a mini muffin, apples and peanut butter for dipping (S) or cheese stick (E).
I copied this lunch idea from Lunchbox Limbo. Isn't it cute??

It's a puppy dog made with heart shaped cookie cutters. Raw oats are on his cheeks and he has raisin eyes and nose. His ears have creme cheese sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Along with the sandwich the boys had pears and an unbaked oatmeal coke made by Daddy. This is our last lunch before the four day weekend!

Heart Shaped Quesildillas

Snack today was oranges and blueberries, a chocolate kiss, crackers with peanut butter (S) or creme cheese (E).
Lunch today was heart shaped quesildillas with heart shaped fruit leather on top, yogurt for dipping the quesildillas, blueberries and cucumber with ranch for dip. I think is was hard to tell the yogurt dip from the ranch dip...

Making use of the cookie cutters

Snack today was pretzels and cheese, grapes and some sweet surprises hidden in the little blue guy peaking out in back - 3 mini marshmallows and chocolate chips. Hopefully this will satisfy S's desire for some "junk food once in a while." :)
Lunch today was a cookie, oranges, apple sauce, grapes and some sandwiches cut out with cooki cutters.

Surprise... Pizza!

Snack today was veggies, cheese and salad dressing. The boys LOVE to dip cheese in salad dressing. Strange kids...

We had left over pizza from the Super Bowl so I packed that along with chocolate pudding with whipped cream, apples and peanut butter and a piece of asparagus omelette. I'm be surprised if the actually eat the omelette but it's worth a try.

Broken snack box. :(

Snack today was graham crackers with strawberry creme cheese and some orange segments with grapes. I started out the school year with 5 boxes this size. It's a great size for the kids snack. The first three broke with in a month and a half. They were from the Disney store. You can see a photo of them below.
I then started using the red and blue ones like above and they had lasted for about four months before the blue one broke this week. I got the blue and the red ones from Ichiban Kan back when they offered things online. I'm SO SO bummed that they no longer offer that service as I live QUITE far from any of their stores... or any stores at all that carry bento stuff for that matter.... For now we are just using a strap to hold it shut but we have lost two straps already. Check out my homemade strap... Not pretty but functional. :)

Lunch today is some pita sandwiches, pear, carrots and little cookies.

Pesto Pasta with Broccoli

S requested a cereal bar for snack today. I added some orange segments too. Do you like my butterfly shaped silicone thing? I got it at the dollar section of Target. 6 cups for $1 - I could not resist. There was only this ONE pack left. I think it was meant to be... Not that the boys noticed or even particularly cared when I pointed it out. I'm well aware that I bought them for myself. :)
Lunch today was pasta with pesto and broccoli, apples with peanutbutter to dip and a chocolte santa. These boys LOVE pesto. We probably have only enough for one more meal from your freezer stash. We'll have to grow more basil next year...
