Monday's snack for all the boys was plum and pirate booty.
For lunch the 7 year olds had a sandwich with cantaloupe and a brownie.
For snack on Tuesday S and E had granola bars and a plum and A had cantaloupe and Graham crackers.
S's lunch on Tuesday was cantaloupe, chips, a sandwich and carrots.
E has cucumbers, cheese sticks, guacamole, chips and cantaloupe.
What kind of bento box is that? I love the snack ones you use too. I think they would work for my twins.
ReplyDeleteAmy, the square box is a lock-n-lock container and the little snack containers are from Cost Plus World Market.
ReplyDeleteCute! I am going to google it now:)
ReplyDeleteI just bought one of the lock & lock containers for my kids. Do you find the more "liquid" type items wet the dry at all. My kids have been complaining
ReplyDeleteKira, we DO find that liquids leak in this lock and lock container. If I do any liquid like items (like the guacamole above) I put it in a little square container with a lid instead of using one of the un-lidded square sections that it comes with. I'm not sure you can tell from the photo that the guacamole is in a different square container but I put a lid on it before putting the lid on the entire box so the guacamole was totally contained.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alie. Which type of lidded container do you use? I bought some small tupperwear one's but could not get the lids to stay on !!
ReplyDeleteI was afraid you would ask that Kira... Unfortunately, I got the little square containers from a store called Ichiban Kan. They used to have an online store but no longer do. The only writing on the boxes is in Japanese (I believe) which I can't read. If you happen to live in the San Fransisco area where Ichiban Kan is local, you are in luck otherwise I'm not sure where you could get them.
